Steve Aikenhead will lead a hike on the Crown Point Road on Friday afternoon at 3:00, August 1st. Berry picking at Wellwood Orchard links to this hike very nicely. The hike is just over 2 miles long. Steve likes to know who is going, so no more details here, except to say that he'll do a little maintenance en route, but that shouldn't slow you down much.

The annual Walk Through the Woods from the Center Church to Steve's cabin is scheduled for Sunday, August 3rd, with a rain date of the following Sunday, the 10th. We leave after service and social time from the Hunter's. Service is at 10:00 AM. I provide a light lunch, so it's helpful to know who is joining us.

He also is organizing the annual Connecticut River Greenup, scheduled for Sunday, August 24th. Participants can help either AM or PM. North Star in New Hampshire supplies the canoes, and you supply the power for a 3 to 4 hour paddle with the gathering of debris. Space is limited.
