announcement AARP will again be providing IRS-trained tax counselors to assist member of the community with FREE preparation of both Federal and State Individual income tax returns. All returns will be e-filed, thus providing the fastest receipt of refunds.

This service is provided without regard to age, income level, etc., and will be provided by appointment ONLY.

If you are filing for a Vermont Renter's Rebate, remember to bring your Landlord Certificate (Vermont Form LC-142) with you. If you won real estate in Vermont, we will also file your  yearly Educational Property Tax Rebate (Act 68) forms. Remember to bring your MOST RECENT (2008-2009) Property Tax Bill for your Town.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you were expecting an Economic Stimulus Payment last year, but didn't receive one, BE SURE to make an appointment, as the IRS is again sending checks this year as part of a refundable credit and refund.

For an appointment at Martin Memorial Hall in Ascutney, call 802-263-5931.

For an appointment at Windsor Connection Resource Center, call 802-674-2900.

For an appointment at Springfield Senior Center, call 802-885-3393.
