The legal voters of the Town of Weathersfield, Vermont, are hereby notified and warned that in accordance with the provisions of Title 17, Section 2680 (g), of the Vermont Statutes Annotated, there will be an informational meeting addressing the following articles on the twenty-fifth day of February, 2010, at 7:00 o'clock, P.M., in Martin Memorial Hall at 5259 Route 5 in Ascutney, Vermont:

Article 24: Shall the voters of the Town of Weathersfield repeal the zoning bylaws enacted by the Town Meeting on March 5th, 1974, and all subsequent amendments, revisions, and re-enactments of said bylaws? [By petition] [By Australian ballot]

Article 25: Shall the voters of the Town of Weathersfield repeal the subdivision regulations enacted by the Town Meeting on March 7th, 1989, and all subsequent amendments, revisions, and reenactments of said bylaws? [By petition] [By Australian ballot]

The actual vote on these articles will occur on the second day of March, 2010, during the Australian Ballot portion of the Annual Town Meeting.

A representative of the petitioners, and consultants from the Vermont League of Cities and Towns' Municipal Assistance Center and the Southern Windsor County Regional
Planning Commission will be present to answer questions regarding the articles.
