Guiding Good Choices Parent Education Class For Parents of 4th-8th Grade Children, Facilitated by Teri Hirss Meals, child care, and gas cards to be provided. Five Tuesdays, October 28 – November 25, 6-8 pm, Weathersfield School Guiding Good Choices is a science-based, proven-effective prevention program that gives parents the skills they need to ensure the future well-being of their children.Guiding Good Choices can help parents reduce or prevent substance abuse and other problem behaviors in their children. It teaches parents of pre-teens and younger adolescents the skills they need to improve family communication and family bonding which is of critical importance in reducing or inhibiting adolescent participation in antisocial behaviors.
