Over $2000 in new children's books have been received and are now available for check out. Weathersfield Tales are Here! A collection of Weathersfield stories is now available at Proctor Library and the Town Office. Topics for the anecdotes in Weathersfield Tales include the farm, village life, schools, murders, natural disasters, holidays, animals, and fascinating characters. Town Government 



Smoky the Pony paid a visit to the Weathersfield Proctor Library on Saturday May 30. Local children gathered to hear Librarian Amity Aldridge read stories about horses and ponies. Kate Adams, a local horsewoman explained how to approach a horse, and care for a horse. The children then proceeded outside on the Library lawn for a visit with a REAL, LIVE PONY!! Assistant Librarian, Lynn Esty shared her pony with the children, who petted and fed the pony carrots. The children went back into the library to take out books on horses to further their equine education. Photos of the event may be viewed at:
