Below are a number of links to organizations and agencies which may be able to assist you with starting a new business in Weathersfield, or to help save your existing business money. Downtown and Village Center Tax Credits: The Villages of Ascutney and Perkinsville have been designated Village Centers by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development. A variety of tax credits are available for improvements to historic buildings with commercial uses or containing rental units.

Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce: SRCC provides resources, referrals, networking and marketing opportunities, education, and advocacy on the local and state level to members engaging in business locally or looking to establish a new business.

Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA): Established by the State of Vermont, a variety of financing options are available to businesses through VEDA such as the Small Business Loan Program or the Entrepreneurial Loan Program.

Efficiency Vermont: Businesses and residents are eligible for a variety of grants which will help cover the costs of incorporating energy efficiency and reducing long term energy costs.
