Business Personal Property Tax

Attention Weathersfield Businesses,

I understand that there is confusion and a lack of communication about the Weathersfield Business Property Tax. As the Selectboard Chair  and the Town's Emergency Management Director, it is my responsibility to see that communication includes everyone.  

This property tax has been a part of the town's tax bills for years. It has been part of the Lister's jobs to notice Town businesses. 

The Selectboard will take this property tax up for discussion on March 4, 2021. The meeting will be held online and please watch for the warned posted links to attend if you wish to comment.

Gov. Scott declared a "State of Emergency" on March 13, 2020.

As the Town's EMD and Selectboard Chair, I will advocate under the "state of emergency Covid19 " and  ask the full Board to waive this tax for the FY 2021-2022.
