Parks & Recreation Commission

Regular Meeting

The Weathersfield Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM at Martin Memorial Hall. In the event of holidays or special circumstances, the meeting will be held at a time to be set by the Commission.

About the Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission is organized pursuant to Title 31, Chapter 5, of the Vermont Statutes Annotated, to study the need for, plan, and oversee improvements to, or construction of, recreational facilities in the Town of Weathersfield.

It is the mission of the Parks and Recreation Commission to establish and maintain resources that provide recreation, community gathering, and natural educational opportunities to residents of all ages within the Town.

Things to Do in Weathersfield

The Town of Weathersfield is engaged in many outdoor recreation planning efforts including, but not limited to the implementation of the recently completed Town Forest Recreation Plan, the completion of a regional road cycling map, and the continued collaboration of the three town Ascutney Outdoor Recreation Initiative. There are various activities for all to participate in & we hope to see you there!
