Planning Commission

Regular Meeting

The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Martin Memorial Hall. In the event of a holiday or other occasion, meetings are sometimes held on the next Tuesday. The Commission may also schedule special meetings, subcommittee meetings, or workshops in addition to its regular schedule. 

Members are urged to let staff know as early as possible if they will be unable to attend a scheduled meeting so arrangements can be made to ensure a quorum.

About the Commission

The Planning Commission consists of 5 members appointed by the Selectboard. The Commission is responsible for the development and updating of the Town Plan, Zoning Bylaws, and Subdivision Regulations. Additionally, it reviews applications for subdivisions. The Planning Commission also participates in District Environmental Commission hearings as one of the statutory parties representing the Town.
