WELLWOOD ORCHARDS

Wellwood Orchards is a family owned and operated farm located in Springfield, Vermont. During apple season we have wagon rides into the orchard to pick your own apples or you can purchase already picked apples and other produce in our country store.  We grow many varieties of Apples, as well as Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Peaches, Plums, Pumpkins and more! While you’re here enjoy our country store with Fresh Baked items that keeps the place smelling like grandma’s kitchen! Also purchase Vermont Maple Syrup, Honey, Vermont Hand Crafts and many other delightful items.

Directions from the North:

Take Interstate 89 South to Interstate 91 South.
Follow Interstate 91 to EXIT 8, the Ascutney Windsor exit.
Turn right at the end of the Exit ramp. Follow for about 2 miles.
There will be a State sign indicating Wellwood Orchards Next Left.
Take this Left (Weathersfield Center Road) and follow for about 4 miles,
Wellwood Orchard Road is on the right, follow for about 1/2 mile, and there you are!!

Directions from the South:

Follow Interstate 91 North to exit 7.
Stay to the right when getting off the exit.
Follow this road into downtown Springfield.
When you get to a True 4 way Traffic light (not a yellow flashing light)
Go straight through and take your next right, Valley Street
Follow this road for about 4 miles. You will pass Crown Point
Golfing club, when you begin to go down hill you will take the left at the bottom of the hill
Onto Wellwood Orchard Road. Follow for about 1/2 mile, and there you are!!

Cas-Cad-Nac Farm LLC

Nestled on the southern slope of Mount Ascutney in Weathersfield, Vermont, Cas-Cad-Nac Farm is a full-time family enterprise. From the delivery of newborn members of the herd to showing, shearing, spinning, knitting, and weaving.

Currently over 200 alpacas in residence covering most colors of the alpaca fiber rainbow. In the decade since we began to breed these amazing creatures, we have bred and bought the best alpacas we could find, resulting in a herd that reflects our high standards.Our Herdsires and their offspring have won numerous awards at local, regional and national levels. Our foundation females come from a wide variety of award winning bloodlines with a strong emphasis on animals of Peruvian descent, many of them direct imports from Peru. It is this uncompromising quality along with an unwavering commitment to service and support that we offer our clients.

DEEP MEADOW FARM

On the banks of the Connecticut River and in the shadow of Mt. Ascutney are 50 acres of deep river bottom soils. Each season we grow Organic vegetables while nurturing this beautiful land. With family and a great team, we are dedicated to providing natural  produce, flowers, herbs. and meat. You can purchase our products from our farm stand, CSA or local farmers markets.

Farm Stand

Our farm stand is located in our main barn with convenient parking and accessibility. All of our fruits and vegetable are raised on our farm and are Certified Organic, by Vermont Organic Farmers. We also sell meat, poultry and eggs, which are offered as available. These items are raised consistent with Organic practices, but are not certified.

The Farm store opens in May and closes in October.

Busy B Goat Farm

BusyB Goat farm is a small family run licensed dairy.  Our main focus is raising and selling registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. We also sell Goat milk soap, Goat Milk Lotions, raw milk and raw honey. 2022 has brought new additions, British Guernsey and Oberhasli does. 

All of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are tested yearly for CAE, and Johne's Disease. Our last tests were completed on 12/16/2021 and again we have a clean herd. Our farm strives to breed For quality milk production, good overall conformation, and parasite resistance. As ADGA plus members Our herd participates in all herd performance programs.  We make it our mission to sell happy, well socialized, conformationally correct, and healthy kids.  We look forward to continuing to improve our herd.

Rockledge Farm Woodworks

We are a small, family owned Vermont farm which has been crafting exquisite custom furniture from the finest native wood for generations. Sustainably harvested, meticulously selected, and uniquely designed for you. Choose from the finest selection of Vermont and Northern New England woods, including Birdseye Maple, Curly Maple, Black Walnut, Cherry, and Oak just to name a few.

Visit our 200 year old hill farm, where we create custom designed, one of a kind furniture and woodenware. In our Woodshop Gallery meet our family craftsmen and watch them demonstrate woodworking in beautiful Burls and Figured Hardwoods. Learn of the long tradition of forestry and wood products in Vermont. Shop for gifts and furniture in our gallery barn, or discuss your custom furniture with us. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it on one of the tables in the old lane, under the heirloom apple trees.

Conveniently located on State Highway 106, a picturesque 15-20 minute drive from the villages of Woodstock, Springfield or Ludlow VT, or Exit 8 of Interstate 91, we look forward to having you visit. We're open Wednesday thru Saturday 9-5, Sunday 12-4, or by appointment.
