Alain Munkittrick, an architect, architectural historian, and historic preservationist, will share a visual presentation of Upper Valley historic houses, researched for inclusion in his latest book, Historic Houses of the Connecticut River Valley (Arcadia 2023). His book, which will be available for sale after his talk, includes over 300 period photographs from over 75 archives up and down the river valley, many of which have never been published. These vintage photographs illustrate his curated selection of 160 historic houses, arranged thematically to tell the story of the Connecticut River Valley's development.

The Lost Village of Perkinsville, History Walk 2003' video is finished and playing on SAPA On Demand. Residents gathered and shared memories at the former sites of Perkinsville that were lost when Stoughton Pond and its dam were created for flood control.

Below is the direct link of how you can watch it.  At the end it pays tribute to the eleven people that were on the walk that are no longer with us.
